Saving Bruce - Tuesday Targets

Yes, I know. Todays update is later than normal. The reason for its lateness is the HUGE number of emails we have been dealing with plus all the "behind the scences" work.

The good news is we are STILL reaching more and more people who are horrified at what is happening, not just to Bruce, not just in Northern Ireland but around the world. BSL is spreading and taking the lives of many good dogs. While you email for Bruce dont forget to email your own representitives and ask them for a complete repeal of your breed specific laws!

One of the many supporters has also had a reply from the Irish News and I can confirm that they have now spoken with Bruce's owner and we are expecting his story to be covered in tomorrows edition! Watch this space for more on that.

I can hear more emails coming in as I type so I shall make it quick! Today we have a new set of targets (contact emails below) and are asking again for you all to contact the USPCA. You can use any of the templates or simply out your own thoughts down.

So todays contacts are:

  1. What I am afraid of is that summer recess is a tactic to quiet everyone down and than make quick decission before anyone can react. We need to keep fighting for Bruce! Do not stop fighting! He needs all of us!

I just sent this email to Gordon Dunne, the Deputy Mayor. I had to link it to a web page because this blog said it was too big to post as a comment/reply.

Please feel free to forward the link as you see fit.

  3. I wrote them all. This story has me so saddened and depressed and I can't understand how/why this poor dog and his owner have been forced to endure this. How can this happen? I want so badly for this to have a happy ending. BSL is a cruel witch hunt.
